About the role

This is a unique opportunity to join EcoAct’s global Marketing and Communications team
based out of our London office.
With a key focus on writing and design, this position will support the EcoAct global
MarComms team across a range of areas including; writing and editing content, design,
social media, website updates, in-person and online events, co-ordination and
administration. This role will liaise extensively with internal cross-departmental
stakeholders and work across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Support the wider team on design processes for marketing collateral.
• Create and update blog content.
• Support the wider Marketing and Communications Team in the delivery of various
marketing campaigns and projects.
• Provide support to our external and internal events, including the preparation and
production of event content, invitations, delivery and follow up process. Oversee
and manage all marketing inboxes and enquiries relating to events.
• Support the social media lead on content creation across social media, email and
additional blogs where required.
• Ensure the marketing collateral on the shared drive is kept up to date.
• Protecting EcoAct’s brand in external and internal contexts.
• Manage team diary, invoices and meeting admin.

Relationships

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications NE, the Marketing and
Communications Coordinator will be required to work closely with all members of the UK
team, both advisory and commercial, to achieve Company objectives as well as being part
of a global communications team that work closely together on a day-to-day basis.
External relationships are part of the role, with a requirement to liaise with freelancers,
agencies, and representatives from partner organisations.

Professional Background and Experience

If you’re a recent Graduate with a keen interest and passion for sustainability and
marketing, this entry-level role offers an opportunity to learn and is the perfect opportunity
to launch your career. Your role will be varied, interesting and most of all rewarding.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate in Marketing or a similar field. Some experience in
a similar role or internship would be a bonus but not essential.

Technical

• Competent in Microsoft Office suite and design software (Adobe InDesign,
Photoshop)
• Outstanding communication and writing skills and the ability to craft content
alongside a desire to build marketing acumen and experience.
• An ability to design and write compelling, customer-focused copy for a variety of
channels.
• A demonstrable understanding of marketing campaign delivery and marketing
principles.
• Knowledge of marketing platforms, social media marketing and content marketing.
Professional
• An ability to manage multiple ongoing assignments simultaneously while meeting
deadlines.
• An ability to work autonomously and independently.
• Flexibility, willingness and ability to “go the extra mile” to help deliver results and
meet deadlines.
• An awareness of gaps in your own knowledge and willingness to seek help to
address them.
• Commitment to supporting the team in a growing and dynamic business.

Location

The role will be based in our central London office with the flexibility to work from home
on a 50/50 office/home working basis. The successful applicant may be required to travel
within the UK and internationally on assignment.
