About Us

EcoAct, an Atos Company, is an international consultancy and project developer, helping businesses and organisations to implement positive change in response to climate and carbon challenges. As a trusted advisor and partner to our clients, we simplify the challenges associated with sustainability, remove complexity, empower individuals and teams, and deploy bespoke solutions integrated into entire value chains.

We exist to embed climate action as a global driver of commercial performance, delivering economic, social and environmental value.

About the Role

Reporting to the Commercial Director responsible for the Southern Europe sales team, you will accompany other team members in sales and business development activities across Italy.

You will oversee the company’s sales development in the Italian market, mainly regarding climate-carbon strategy, reduction action plans, carbon offsetting strategy, low-carbon project development, or marketing and communication strategy for climate-carbon initiatives towards national and international clients.

You carry out multidisciplinary work in collaboration with various experts on demanding mandates, which allow you to get in touch with C-levels and advise them on the implementation of the missions entrusted.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Initiate and/or develop the company’s customer relations and revenue in the assigned market and more broadly in the Southern Europe perimeter;
  • Drive client proposals/offers as well as direct prospecting approaches and procedures;
  • Contribute to the implementation of the marketing strategy for new selling offers;
  • Create and contribute to commercial supports (references, databases, documentation, etc.);
  • Manage the response to calls for tenders and private consultations;
  • Monitor and analyse market studies (market maturity, business potential, competitive environment, sales pitch, etc.);
  • Participate in national and international professional events;
  • Participate in sectoral studies on the theme of carbon strategy and carbon neutrality, in particular.

Professional Background and Experience

  • Master’s degree from a business or engineering school;
  • Significant experience in similar activities, as a consultant or as a key account manager in a sustainability environment;
  • Strong willingness to contribute to tackle climate change and help companies and organizations commit and address these challenges;
  • Knowledge of climate and carbon issues is preferred: measuring carbon footprints, reducing emissions, carbon offsetting mechanisms, as well as mastering the regulatory aspects of sustainability;
  • Italian is essential (fluency in one or more other languages such as English and French is a plus);
  • In addition to your commercial and technical skills, you will be able to work well with an international team with a strong team spirit.
